U3A aims and objectives are to enhance the lives of people no longer working by providing a social network of those with similar interest..We do this through more than 50 Interest Groups providing educational, leisure and recreational activities for the benefit of members in Tavistock and the surrounding area.Groups are organised on a self help basis where we share knowledge and experience. We have a good programme of social events and several active walking groups.
You are welcome to come and join us at one of our monthly General Meetings.
These are normally held in the Town Hall, Bedford Square, Tavistock, on the first Wednesday of the month at 2.00pm.There is a varied Speaker Programme at these meetings and those for the current year are as attached, but please check the Monthly Meetings page for any late unavoidable changes.
