Welcome to Tavy District U3A

Tavy District U3A is part of the wider family of national U3A groups.

U3A aims and objectives are to enhance the lives of people no longer in full time employment by providing a social network of those with similar interests.

We do this through more than 40 Interest Groups providing educational, leisure and recreational activities for the benefit of members in Tavistock and the surrounding area.

Groups are organised on a self help basis where we share knowledge and experience.

We have a good programme of social events and four active walking groups.

You are welcome to come and join us at one of our monthly General Meetings. These are held in the Town Hall, Bedford Square, Tavistock, PL19 0AU on the first Wednesday of the month at 2.00pm. There is a varied Speaker Programme at these meetings. 

Annual Membership Subscriptions are currently £14 for single members and £24 for two people living at the same address.
