Diner’s Delight is a self-organising group within Tavy District u3a. The members themselves are responsible for making the arrangements for the dining out events. The co-ordinators, Andrew and Caroline Paskins, assist the organiser(s) by circulating their proposals to group members who then respond directly to the organiser(s).
The procedures for organisation of Diner’s Delight can be found by clicking here.
Occasionally a dining event will be organised to include a walk or other activity e.g. a visit to the Dartmoor Inn at Lydford was combined with a walk to Widgery Cross.
As well as dining out, we also occasionally organise visits to foodie events such as the fish preparation demonstration meeting held at the River Cottage in the Royal William Yard, Plymouth.

The co-ordinators, Andrew and Caroline Paskins will provide support and guidance for new members and for existing members who have not organised an event before.
Events are held at roughly monthly intervals depending on members volunteering to organise events. The events are advertised to group members by circulars to the group membership.
Members are required to respond direct to the organisers (and NOT to the co-ordinators). Places are normally limited in number are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Depending on the venue, a deposit and/or pre-order may be required. The details are forwarded to those attending by the organiser to the attendees via the co-ordinators.
Any member of Tavy District u3a can register as a group member, by providing their details on the new member registration sheet. (Please note your details MUST be legible so that you can be clearly identified.)
