The Alternative History of Ponies on Dartmoor – Joss Hibbs Powdermills Pottery (EXACT TIME SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

The pottery has teamed up with the charity Friends of the Dartmoor Hill Pony to create the Dartmoor Hill Pony Exhibition. 

Joss will talk about the history of ponies on Dartmoor from the stone age to the present day, how the hill ponies have evolved to be able to survive there all year round, how they help create a home for wildlife and about the ancient ebb and flow of 'wild' ponies on the moor's commons.

Joss Hibbs has been resident potter at Powdermills  since 1999, having been taught to throw pots on the potters wheel by Richard Phethean, and having completed two years of ceramics at the University of Westminster.
