U3A aims and objectives are to enhance the lives of people no longer working by providing a social network of those with similar interest. We do this through more than 50 Interest Groups providing educational, leisure and recreational activities for the benefit of members in Tavistock and the surrounding area. Groups are organised on a self help basis where we share knowledge and experience. Under normal circumstances we have good programme of social events and several active walking groups.
Currently only those activities that can be conducted via zoom from the safety of our homes are feasible. Advise is available via this link u3a.org.uk.
An important part of this are the monthly zoom meetings/speakers.
Next talk: February 3rd 2021
