Jennie and Janet are planning some exciting monthly visits. We now eagerly await the NGS (National Garden Scheme) and St Luke's charity booklets to be published detailing their open days for 2026.
Our first visit of the year was recently featured in The English Garden Magazine and is Higher Cherubeer, near Winkleigh.
Details of each garden visit can be found at the bottom of the page in the calendar of visits (just click on the + sign for each garden to get the details).
The signing up sheets where you will find all the details of the visit will be on the Groups Table at the monthly meetings in the Town Hall, or you can contact Jennie or Janet by text or phone to find out more information or to book your place. Please do sign up so we can plan lifts to car share from Pixon Lane which makes parking at the venues easier. If for any reason Pixon Lane carpark is closed, meet in the Myra's snack bar layby.
Their telephone contact details are in the members area under group leaders.
We welcome details of any garden you have been to or have read about that you would like us to visit.
We are now approaching the end of our Garden Visits season with only two more gardens to visit. It has been a very dry year and the gardens we have visited recently have sadly shown the effect of the lack of rain. However, we hope there will be other interests in each of these last gardens.
