Exploring Art: The great, the quirky, and the modern
Our members are keen to explore art in its many forms. In addition to the 'great masters', we shall learn more about artists of merit who have not received wide public acclaim. Since art is ever changing, we are also keen to examine contemporary art and identify up and coming individuals.
Our interests are wide-ranging in terms of period and genre.
We each take a turn to introduce an artist which leads into subsequent discussion. We use on-line material and aim to view exhibitions wherever possible. Suggestions as to where future trips might take us are always welcome.
