Our Backgammon for Fun group 1 is open to everyone – whether you've never played backgammon before or you're already an experienced player.
We'll help complete beginners learn the basics, while more experienced players can enjoy playing against others and improving their game.
Backgammon combines luck, strategy and decision-making. The basic rules are surprisingly easy to learn, but there is plenty of scope to develop your skills as you become more experienced.
You don't need to own a backgammon board either. However, if you have a full-size or travel-size board, please bring it along.
The Church Lane Café in Tavistock kindly allows us to meet on their premises, so, as a courtesy to the café, members are asked to purchase a tea, coffee or other drink when attending.
So, why not come along, learn a new skill, meet other members and enjoy a friendly game of Backgammon for Fun. Beginners very welcome!
