French Novel Reading

We read a variety of modern novels in French, many of which have recently won prestigious literary prizes. These books are chosen and bought by the members themselves. Unfortunately, our books cannot be borrowed from the Tavistock Library.

The range of topics discussed over many years have been impressive. We have covered many up-to-date political, environmental and social issues of the 21st century.

We discuss in English but also read aloud relevant passages in French to illustrate our opinions.

This is a long established group with several founder members still attending the monthly meetings. New members are always welcome to join.

Leader:Francis Stephens
Venue:Leaders home
When:Third Wednesday of the Month 2.15pm to 4pm

You can only join a group if you are a current member. To contact the group leader, click on the leaders name to take you to the group leaders contact details. Alternately email the website using the contact page or sign up at the monthly meetings.
