We meet on the 3rd Monday of the month to discuss issues of the day.
We look at topics in depth and members are asked to read up on the topic ahead of the meeting and to bring facts and evidence, not just opinions, to the meeting.
Our aim is to discuss in a calm and mature manner, being respectful of views that may differ from our own and opening our minds to others' perceptions. Our discussions may be sometimes serious, sometimes light-hearted, but always friendly and non-confrontational.
At each meeting, we decide on the discussion topic for the subsequent meeting.
