Rummikub is a tile strategy game. Normally played as fours (although possible with three or two).
It consists of four different sets of coloured tiles numbered 1 to 13 and a number of jokers. Each person is dealt with 14 tiles, with the idea being to be the first to play all your tiles.
Tiles can be played as runs or groups. A run consists of at least three tiles of the same colour in consecutive order, whilst a group consists of three or four tiles of the same number but different colours.
Progress is made by manipulating the laid out tiles to make new groups and avoid having to pick up extra tiles thereby achieving "Rummikub".
The group is also learning to play Rummikub Twister which has multiple jokers that have different functions. You don't want to end up with a joker in your hand as it will cost you 30 points!
