We are a new group, meeting for enjoyment, not serious competition, but we want to learn from the experience and improve our individual word scores.
We play to the original Scrabble rules based on the Collins Scrabble Dictionary and Collins English Dictionary and we allow two letter words that are listed on ‘The Association of British Scrabble Players’ (ABSP) website. (Players can refer to a laminated list of these words during out games.)
If you’ve played scrabble before with friends and family, you are very welcome to join us. Equally, if you are a beginner, we’d be happy to welcome you and share with you the various strategies of the game that we know about.
As our group increases in size, we will likely need to relocate to a larger venue.
