Happy New Year to all!
This is to let you know that tickets will be available for collection for the following shows at the Theatre Royal:
The Commitments, Strictly Ballroom, An Inspector Calls, The Mousetrap and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
You can still book for The Magic Flute which is on Saturday 27th May, tickets are £38 and payment required by the February meeting.
Those of you who were due to see This Land last September, may be interested to know that a performance of We Are the Land, written and performed by the Wampanoag nation, is scheduled for the 23rd April in the Lyric. There are various other talks and events taking place in the Drum later that week. The theatre website tells us that:
" We Are The Land is an opportunity to understand their relationship to the soil, how it was taken away and how the tribe have re-established themselves written and performed by the tribe, for the first time in history."
Booking is now open via the theatre box office and you are invited to Pay what you feel.
I look forward to seeing you in 2023.
Regards
Carole Thompson
